Coordinating Council for Child Protection, responsible for advising the Minister of Women, Family and Community Development on all aspects of child protection as well as coordinating the resources of various Government departments involved in child protection. It also renders advice on the management and operation of the Child Protection Teams throughout the country. This Council is chaired by the Director General of the Department of Social Welfare and represented by the relevant Government departments, child experts as well as NGOs.
